Q: How can I share my photos or videos with my family and friends?

Sharing with FOREVER is easy and fun! You can connect with family and friends within FOREVER by using our Connections feature. Your family and friends can then view your profile and all albums designated as “Connections”. You can also designate albums as “Public.” Public albums may be viewed by anyone who searches for your name within FOREVER. If you choose to keep albums private, you can do so simply by designating the album “Private.” Private albums can only be seen by you.

You also have the option to create a share link for an individual photo or file, group of photos or files, an album, or tag. The link can be generated and shared via email, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, QR Code, or copied/pasted into a text message or email program on a mobile device. Anyone with this link can view and download these files.

Q: How much storage do I need?.

We recommend starting with 25GB of storage. 25GB will hold approximately 3,750 – 12,500 photos depending on resolution. You can always purchase additional storage whenever you need it.

Q: What file types are supported?

  • Images: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .tiff, .tif, .webp
  • Videos: .mp4, .avi, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv, .mkv, .m4v, .mts, .m2ts
  • Audio: .mp3, .m4a, .wma, .ra, .mka, .ac3, .aac, .ogg, .flac, .wav, .amr
  • Documents: .pdf, FOREVER AutoPrint, Design & Print, and completed Artisan® projects
All files must be under 4GB in size. Contact [email protected] for help with larger files.

Q: Will the metadata of my files be stored in FOREVER?

Yes. When you upload your files, the original metadata that is attached to the file at the time of upload is preserved. Additional details that you may add to your files in FOREVER, such as descriptions, tags, and dates, are then stored alongside the original metadata. You have the option to include this additional information as updated metadata when you download the files out of FOREVER.

Q: How can storage be guaranteed for 100+ years?

With every FOREVER Storage® purchase, a large percentage of your payment is deposited into the FOREVER Guarantee Fund. This fund is invested so that it increases in value and pays for the recurring costs of saving your content and migrating it to new file formats over time.
