I’m a Self-Care Advocate, a daughter who has walked through a cancer diagnosis with my Dad & a dementia journey with my Mom, a breast cancer survivor, and a Founding ABBI Ambassador. I know what it feels like to put yourself last—because I’ve been there (and let me tell you, it’s not a great, long-term strategy).

If I could sit beside this little girl for just a moment…💕 I think I’d tell her that life becomes both more beautiful and more complicated than she can imagine. I’d tell her there will be seasons where she feels incredibly strong… and seasons where she quietly wonders if she has anything left to give. And I’d tell her this too: One day, she’ll grow into a woman who raises two incredible children, loves family & friends fiercely, laughs loudly, and slowly realizes that the strength she spent years searching for was inside her all along. She’ll become the person people lean on. The helper. The caregiver. The steady presence in hard moments. She’ll sit beside the people she loves through illness, grief, change, and goodbye… and those experiences will shape her in ways she never saw coming. Not by making her harder. But by making her more compassionate. She’ll spend years learning that caring for others matters… but caring for herself matters too. And somehow, through all of it, she’ll keep becoming. More grounded. More courageous. More herself. And that bright little spark she carries even now? 📢 My PSA for the day.......... We all have skin goals… no matter our age. ✨ If you’re younger and thinking, “I don’t really need skincare yet,” this is your gentle reminder: caring for your skin now is one of the kindest ways to support your future skin. And if you’re older and thinking, “Well… it’s probably too late for me,” please hear me lovingly say: it’s not❣️ Skincare can be both preventive and supportive, BUT the key is using products that actually fit your skin, not just what’s trending, sitting on a shelf, or working for someone else. Your skin has its own story, its own needs, and its own little wish list. 💜 So I’m curious… what is one thing you’d love to see change or feel better about your skin right now?
Our dishwasher love story in four acts. 😂 Act 1: Plates facing the same direction. (But which direction, though?) 🤷‍♀️ Act 2: Bowls — top rack or bottom rack? (We have opinions.) Act 3: Silverware facing up or down? (This one has layers.) 🍴 Act 4: “Did you rinse that first?” (...every time.) Jeff and I have built a beautiful life together. We do not load the dishwasher the same way. 🤣 Both things are true. 💖 Are you a system loader or a “it’ll sort itself out” loader?
